Allow me to love you lightly,
Like the breeze that moves through your hair,
And allow me to love you gently,
Like the tears that run down your face tonight

In return I ask you to love me slowly,
As the stars move in the nightsky
Be not like the sun, my love,
But like the mysterious moon who visits at night,

Like the sea who murmurs in my ears,
And washes my dreams away
Allow me to love you secretly,
Like a clear blue pond inside a deep cavern,

And allow me to love you silently
In return I ask you to love me softly,
Like the clouds that cushion the moon in her journey,
And I ask you to love me warmly

Be not like the sun, my love,
But like the mysterious moon who visits at night,
Serene and passionate,
Intense and gentle

In return I'll love you deeply,
Like the cavern with the blue pond,
Like the sea who washes my dreams
I'll murmur in your ears,

Allow me to love you tonight,
And be like the moon in your arms

Yavne,

DONUTS (WITH OR WITHOUT YOU)

Author: Laura Hutchinson ( dragongntx@yahoo.com )

Sitting in my room
Eating my dinner
I stare at Bono
He is in my room
Completely contained within the television
Singing such a beautiful rendition
I am glued to the screen

I stare at the TV, even as I write
"Yeah we'll shine like stars in the summer night"
A gentle blue light shines up from below
Though a grille it makes a magical glow
His voice is so soothing
I can't stop drooling
He stares at something behind the camera that I cannot see
His eyes look glazed
Or so it seems
But behind sweet sugar icing
Sadness lingers (Sadness hides)
And something gleams

Vina Apsara, Mexico City, 1989:
The ground beneath her feet was no more
Standing outside her hotel door
The earth opened up and swallowed her down
Never again to be seen or found
First there was shock, then there was mourning
But the earthquake was just a warning
Of what was to come
Two worlds colliding, not mixing
But fighting
It shouldn't be this way
Which one will die?
Which one will survive, to see another day?

JOHNNY TAKE A WALK WITH YOUR SISTER THE MOON

Author: Megan ( Popsadie@aol.com )

Sometimes the heat is just too much
Sometimes the sun's too much to bear
Sometimes I see my failures and my sins
And fear the truth's almighty glare

Sometimes its easier to just don my shades
And look away from the light
To find a lone lowly lit room
And stay there through the long chilled night

But then through the cracks of the room's wall
A light seeps in through the place
It's gentle and it's pleading...
Cool and full of love and grace

I let it fill my heart with hope
My guilt and fear they fall away
As it leads me with its graceful rays
Into the new awaiting day
